Game & Watch heads to DSiWare
Classic games to get a second lease of life on Nintendo download service
A selection of Nintendo’s legendary Game & Watch games is headed for the Japanese DSiWare over the coming weeks. Nine of the retro titles are making their way over to start with, at a cost of 200 points each.
Ball, Flagman, Vermin and Judge will be out on July 15th; Helmet and Chef on July 29th and Donkey Kong JR, Mario’s Cement Factory and Manhole have been confirmed for some time in August.
There’s no news on a western release just yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything.
Game & Watch was a series of standalone electronic games released by Nintendo between 1980 and 1991. They were created by legendary designer Gunpei Yukoi, who went on to create the Game Boy.
