So you’ve weighed up the pros and cons, religiously consulted both our extensive
DSi XL hardware review and
in-depth DSi XL feature and come to the conclusion that you’d actually rather like to purchase the latest shiny Nintendo device.
Stage two: actually putting down the cash required.
The DSi XL’s official recommended retail price is £159.99, but even before its launch this week many stores and online sellers committed to a price tag closer to £150.
However, if you’ve an eye for a bargain you may wish to pay a visit to your local Asda supermarket where it’s been reported that the DSi XL is selling for an astonishingly bargainous £135.
Rival chains Sainsbury’s and Tesco simply can’t compete – they’re selling the machine for £149.99 and £149.00, respectively.

I saw the price in Asda and did wonder if it was a mistake or not.
I just bought an XL, but had to get mine from Gamestation, as I had £52 store credit and wanted to use that, also I traded in my DS lite and a Wii game, so only ended up paying £38.99 for it.
