Assassin's Creed II: Discovery stalks the DS

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed II: Discovery will turn up for the DS on November 20th.

According to Ubisoft's press release, "players are taken through an untold chapter from the Assassin's Creed II console storyline utilising the unique strengths of the Nintendo DS," and that the game takes "platforming into the next generation with an emphasis on exhilarating speeds and breathtaking acrobatics."

You play as Ezio, and travel to Spain to rescue fellow assassins being held under the guise of the Inquisition, only to uncover a plot that will see him sail west and discover the New World.

Perhaps the most intriguing feature is the ability for DSi owners to take pictures of themselves and add them to the game's 'Wanted' posters, presumably found throughout the adventure.

Certainly there is a lot of fun to be had when adding a personal touch to a game, however we can well imagine that after a few alcoholic beverages the resulting 'comical' photographic efforts will probably warrant some sort of censoring.

Boys will be boys.
