Animal Color Cross brings Picross to DSiWare

Fans of the Picross series may want to check out a new DSiWare puzzler coming this spring.

Animal Color Cross is a grid-based hidden picture title. Complete each line to reveal an animal hidden within the grid.

Numbers dotted around the grid give a hint of which colour to fill each block on the grid. As colours are filled in, a picture will begin to form.

Once you get the hang of it, time and accuracy are the key factors in achieving a high score. Choosing the wrong colour results in a score penalty, but there's no way to lose, so the game is accessible for both children and adults alike.

There's 72 grids to play through, with animal backgrounds taken from eight geographical zones from around the world.

In a nutshell, Animal Color Cross is a colourful version of Picross, so if you're a fan of the original popular puzzler, this'll probably be your kind of thing.
