Qubic brings two plane racers to DSiWare

Here's a neat solution to the problem of making high quality games for the cheap, low volume DSiWare channel.

Polish publisher Qubic Games has announced two games based on the same technology.

AiRace is a racer that has you racing old propellor planes through various locations such as drains, the Amazon, aircraft hangers etc, while AiRace Tunnels brings a futuristic take that has you flying jets and spaceships through tunnels.

As well as racing, both offer power ups such as super speed, rockets, shields and inverted controls.

AiRace is the more complex of the two however, offering an up to six player multiplayer mode.

And the games look pretty good - especially considering they're doing proper 3D on the DSi.
