This week on the 3DS eShop: 3D Ecco the Dolphin, 3D Galaxy Force II, and lots of lovely sales

Apart from a couple of neat classic Sega games rendered in stereoscopic 3D and a range of games on sale, there isn't much new to ogle on the 3DS eShop this week.

Of course, the Miiverse service went live for the Nintendo 3DS this week, so we can't complain too much - that's pretty much a game in itself.

Wait, is social media a game? Are we all part of some big video game experiment in the sky? It's possible - I can imagine there's some powerful entity watching over us, Nintendo 3DS in hand.

Or maybe I'm just a bit paranoid. Either way, here's this week's new 3DS batch...

European eShop releases

The classic Ecco the Dolphin is now available for your Nintendo 3DS, with stereoscopic 3D thrown in for good measure. That'll cost you £4.09.

If that's not your cup of tea, though, perhaps another Sega classic, Galaxy Force II, will take your fancy. Again, it's rendered in stereoscopic 3D for the first time, and has a £4.49 price tag.

Elsewhere, there's Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! for £28.49. No idea if that's any good, but I'd definitely wait for some reviews before taking the plunge.

Then, there's Cocoto Alien Brick Breaker for £17.99, Girl's Fashion Shoot for £29.99, a bunch of new demos, and Virtual Console game Donkey Kong 3 for £4.49.

But wait - there are some cool games on sale!

Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns, Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, Crimson Shroud, Liberation Maiden, and The Starship Damrey are all games you should consider picking up at discounted rates.

There's also Bugs vs Tanks and Snow Moto Racing 3D, again both available at cut price. Well worth checking a handful of these out.

US eShop releases

Compared to the European store, the US eShop isn't looking so great.

You guys can download Ecco the Dolphin and Galaxy Force II, but otherwise it's a bit grim.

AeternoBlade, Jump Trials Supreme, Life with Horses 3D, and My Style Studio: Hair Salon are all now available for purchase, while Double Dragon has just surfaced on the eShop.

And that's your lot, unfortunately. Back again next week!
