Warner Bros Interactive has announced that the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award winning vocabulary puzzle game Scribblenauts will be receiving a sequel before the end of the year.

Scribblenauts 2 features over 10,000 more words added to the database, 120 new levels, a level editor, and - my favourite new feature - improved controls. Hopefully this means the little tyke won’t throw himself off a cliff when you want him to pick up a mongoose.

Interestingly, it seems that adjectives will play a bigger part in proceedings. Whether this means that ‘ferocious badger’ will draw a snarling, bloodied woodland beast or just a normal, mildly intimidating mammal, we’ll have to wait and see.

We won’t have to wait too long, though, as the game is planned for release in North America this autumn. There's no word yet about the European release date.
