A few days ago, Pokemon developer Game Freak launched a teaser website for a mysterious unannounced title.

In a cryptic message on the website, Game Freak promised that a classic title "played all around the world" will be reborn thanks to a "surprising collaboration".

If you had your heart set on some sort of Pokemon spin-off, you'll be bitterly disappointed by the following news.

Game Freak's new title is called Soritiba, you see, and it isn't related to Pokemon in any way, shape, or form. It's actually a solitaire / horse racing hybrid puzzler for the 3DS.

According to 4Gamer, Soritiba features two different game modes (Solitaire and Racing), between which you can frequently switch as you compete in races.

In Solitaire mode, you unlock power-ups and other goodies that increase your horse's chances of a podium finish. In Racing mode, you directly control your thoroughbred using the 3DS's touchscreen.

Soritiba will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on July 31st. A Western release of Soritiba is yet to be announced, but we'll be sure to let you know if we hear anything.
