Phoenix Wright Justice for All set for March release

Judge John Deed may race the hearts of his lady witnesses, while Rumpole of the Bailey would be a better dinner companion, but when it comes to wacky, action-packed cases, Phoenix Wright's the one for us.

So it's good news that Nintendo and Capcom have finally decided on a European release date of the 16th March for Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice for All, the second DS game in the long-running Japanese lawyer series.

Of course, being ahead of the game, can check out our review of the Japanese version of the game. Suffice to say, our verdict is guilty as charged, at least when it comes to serving up a compelling mix of dark plots, kooky stories, and lawyer talk.

And there's more on the way too, with the third DS game currently in development and due for a Japanese release in April. The first game to be created purely for DS (the other two were remakes of GBA titles), it will see Phoenix Wright replaced as the main character with new lawyer who's fresh out of law school. Wright is scheduled to appear as the defendant in the first case, however.
