First riddle-filled screens of I SPY Fun House DS

It seems even people not involved in gaming are going a bit DS crazy this summer. Last week, we had to deal with the mysterious Game Chamber – a piece of rotating plastic for the storage of DS games – as well as details about US Harry Potter publisher Scholastic entry into the world of DS.

And it's that particular theme we're now continuing with as the first screens of the company's I SPY Fun House game are released.

Delving into the details, the I Spy observation/educational franchise started out in old fashioned wood pulp (book) form, in which kids have to solve riddles and discover items in the illustrations.

Now switched over to DS, the first game is a reworking of the I SPY Fun House tome, in which you have to find nine items in order to unlock the exit and escape.

There are 18 riddles to solve, which link into six riddle screens, while the gaming potential of the DS is to be used, with three mind-stretching (and presumably stylus-twitching) interactive experiences.

I SPY Fun House is due to be released in the US during 2007, but doesn't currently have a European release date.
