Both of the Dragon Fantasy Book games are heading to Nintendo 3DS soon

As well as bringing Shutshimi to PS Vita, Choice Provisions's new publishing arm is bringing Dragon Fantasy Book I and Dragon Fantasy Book II to 3DS (and Wii U, PC).

The titles of the games have been changed for the occasion, though.

Yep, Dragon Fantasy Book I is called Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria on 3DS. While Dragon Fantasy Book II gets the title Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice on 3DS.

Other than that, these are the same retro-style RPGs that developer Muteki Corporation released on PS Vita, PS3, and iOS a couple of years ago.

If you didn't know, they're Muteki's riff on the Dragon Quest series, the ones that were released in the '80s.

As both of our reviewers noted, your fondness for that type of RPG will determine how much you like it.

You can expect them both to arrive on the 3DS eShop very soon.
