Minecraft is getting around these days, with the ultra-popular PC edition now available on the Xperia Play and an Xbox 360 version on the way too.

How about a version on the Nintendo DS, then? Okay, so DScraft isn't an official version - it's a homebrew edition from a coder called Smealum.

But if you have the necessary tools to get it up and running this is well worth checking out. It features a version of the classic mode of Minecraft, with focus on building and digging, rather than throwing enemies and environmental changes your way.

However, the developer does plan to implement this eventually. You can download the latest build straight from his site.
