Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains delayed in Europe, gets a name change
US gets it on May 12th
Atlus has announced that Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will be out for 3DS owners in the US on May 12th. But it also revealed that Europeans will have to wait a little longer for the game.
The delay in Europe is due to a copyright issue. It's the same reason as to why the game's title has been changed in Europe. It'll be called Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains, which is the original Japanese title.
Once the issue has been sorted you can expect Humanity in Chains to be available in the 3DS eShop. In the US it'll cost $39.99, which means it'll probably cost £29.99 in the UK.
In both regions, the game comes with a free 3DS Home theme.
Humanity in Chains is based on the Japanese manga and anime Attack on Titan. It sees the remnants of humanity fighting against the giant humanoid beings that nearly wiped us out.
In the game, you play as one of a band of warriors that use grappling hooks to move through the air while using blades to chop the Titans down.
Their weak point is the back of the neck so it is this you should aim for. But there are other critical points you can exploit, too.
Humanity in Chains has a single player Story as well as co-op multiplayer for up to four people. The trailer above reveals some of the characters you can play as.
