Altair returns to DS in Assassin's Creed Discovery

For someone who's supposed to keep to the shadows and not be noticed, Altair's done an excellent job when it comes to his second DS game.

No one seems to know anything about it, apart from the fact the name Assassin's Creed Discovery turned up on a Ubisoft release schedule with a 20th November release date.

Coincidentally that's the same day as the excellent-looking Bloodlines for PSP.

Indeed, so secretive is the situation that not even Ubisoft PR seems to want to say any more than Discovery exists.

However, we're prepared to predict Discovery will be a little more fluid action and adventure than Altair's first DS outing - 2008's Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles - which was described by our reviewer Tracy as "Filled with flaws, underwhelming action and lack of staying power, Assassin's Creed composes a chronicle of mediocrity".

Put that in your scabbard and weep. Let's hope Altair's up for revenge with something sharper in late 2009.
