ESRB leak Aliens: Colonial Marines DS details, side-scrolling shooter with 'buttocks exposed'
Get your hands off her you...
DS owners should start prepping their flamethrowers, as Aliens: Colonial Marines is coming to the DS.
According to a new ESRB rating the game will be a side-scrolling platformer with the typical array of guns 'n' ammo on offer with which to euthanise the Giger-designed monsters.
Players will be toting shotguns, flamethrowers, and explosives whilst they rip through the alien horde.
The ESRB also warns that, “During the course of the game, players can enter a locker room and see a male character whose buttocks are briefly exposed.” Oo-er.
So, though Sega is yet to announce the title’s release officially, we already know the most salient fact about it.
Other facts include that the game will be developed by Wayforward Technologies, the side-scrolling specialist behind the DS version of Contra 4 (only released in Japan) and A Boy and his Blob on Wii.
It's not yet clear whether this is the long-awaited first-person shooter that was previously in development by Duke Nukem: Forever developer Gearbox. It appears that that title, announced way back in 2009 for PS3 and PSP, has evolved into this one. Until Sega throws us a bone, we’ll have to make do with this male nudity nugget.
