Nintendo releases bumper new 2008 release schedule

Here's something that should brighten the day of any self-respecting DS fan. It's Nintendo's latest DS release schedule, released by Nintendo itself today, which lists DS releases from now up until the end of the year.

There aren't too many surprises on it - most are games that have previously been announced. Although Nintendo has one new game on there - a maths game called Make 10: A Journey of Numbers which is apparently designed to teach maths to younger players and takes place in a fantasy world called Make 10. Sega too has Sonic Unleashed listed for a late 2008 release - a game previously only confirmed for the home consoles.

Spore Creatures is also dated for September 5th, while the long-awaited Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations is at last scheduled for October 3rd.

As is always the case with release schedules, the dates are subject to change. And going by the titles of some of them, their names are subject to change for UK release too.

But it at least gives an indication of what's on the horizon. And that's plenty of games. DS owners certainly aren't going to be suffering from a lack of choice this year.
