Special edition Gold and Metallic Rose DS bundles confirmed

Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you news of rumours regarding two new DS Lite special edition bundles being released in the US.
There's no stylus without touchscreen, as we say, and it's little surprise to learn the rumours were true. Nintendo America has confirmed the two custom DS colours are launching in the States this Friday (November 23rd), and they're pretty special.
There's a Gold Zelda: Phantom Hourglass console emblazoned with the Triforce logo, and a Metallic Rose Nintendogs DS complete with pink puppy paw print. Aww.
Both versions come bundled with a copy of their retrospective games and cost $149.99 (£75).
"Our new bundles will be collector's items for current gamers while offering an attractive way for people new to video games to play with style," Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing, George Harrison, said.
We can only hope it's not just US gamers who get the chance to play their DS games with style, and that the consoles are released here in the UK, too. There's no news from Nintendo confirming they will be though, which doesn't fill us with much hope. We can imagine the eBay frenzy now.
