Like those round-robin letters you get at Christmas that inform you Crispin is captaining the First XI and climbed Mont Blanc in his holidays, while Jemina's translated Plato into Urdu and is having a play put on at the Royal Court, so Nintendo's press releases about the successes of its various consoles are becoming a bit, well… wearing.

But here we go, anyhow.

DS sales in Europe are now up to 14 million.

More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain? has sold over 915,000 units in Europe during the 11 weeks since its launch.

The original Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? has sold over 3.3 million copies in Europe.

Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, combined, have managed around 1.6 million sales in Europe in the seven weeks since appearing in shops.
