Cut the Rope landing on DSiWare this week for a whopping £4.50
Cut the price!
iOS smash hit Cut the Rope will be making its debut on Nintendo’s DSiWare on Thursday, although those who’ve been looking forward to the casual puzzler may want to sit down and steady themselves for the next paragraph.
That’s because the game - which cost 59p when it first came out on the App Store - will be sold for a simply crazy £4.50 on the eStore. That’s not quite as bad as the £7.50 for Plants vs Zombies, but it’s still fairly ridicoulous
Cut the Rope is, however, one of our favourite iOS titles, managing to snag a highly-prized Pocket Gamer Silver Award when it first released, thanks to its combination of ingenious casual puzzling and Om Nom’s delightful little face, so you could argue that it’s worth the extra cash in the first place.
Before you start feeling a little better about handing over the cash, though, we'll also point out that Android owners can download the game for free.
