Valentines Day is just a fortnight away, and we sincerely hope many of you will spend the day making eyes at your loved one, rather than playing mobile games. But for those of you who are single (and want to wallow in it), here’s a game that might appeal.

It’s called Cupid 3D and has been developed by Italian firm DS Effects which, according to the law of national stereotypes, must know a thing or two about romance. It’s a 3D platform game where your goal is to help Cupid to conquer hearts, seemingly by dashing along narrow platforms as far as the eye can see, if the screenshots are anything to go by.

Along the way, you’ll apparently meet little devils, monsters and “funny enemies” (Clowns? A clone army of Jimmy Carrs?) trying to stop your mission. It’s available now, presumably for the price of a box of chocs.
