It’s probably not escaped your attention, but Paradise Island's and My Country's brightly-coloured social gaming antics have been utterly dominating the top grossing chart on the Android Market for quite a while.

Game Insight is now hoping for lightning to strike once more, as it’s just released the far more gritty and moody Crime Story on Android.

Crime Story puts you in the shoes of a man looking for his missing brother, who just so happens to set up his own protection racket and become the Don along the way.

As with Paradise Island, Crime Story is presented in an attractive isometric view, with some rather natty-looking animations (that you can see in the trailer below).

It’s a free-to-play game and contains no ads, but naturally there’s a freemium aspect to it hiding underneath the menus and action. You can grab Crime Story from the Android Market now by following this handy link [download].
