Tag and Crash onto PSP
The Bandicoot is back in Crash Tag Team Racing
Already announced for DS, Vivendi has spread the Crash love to another handheld with the news Crash Tag Team Racing is coming for PSP. Due out in the autumn, the company promises the game will combine ‘crazy combat racing with on-foot exploration and adventure while taking advantage of all of the advanced technology of the PSP system’.
Using the sort of gameplay as seen in Mario Kart: Double Dash on GameCube, Crash Tag Team Racing will let you crash into opponents during a race to combine into one super-car equipped with a 360-degree rotating turret. Once this has happened, you can either drive or take control of the turret - each crashed vehicle has its own special weaponry - with the computer taking over the other task. Players can also continue the action out of the car exploring the entire world on foot and collecting upgrades and unlocking bonus tracks.
And as well as the single player tournament mode, there will also be a wi-fi co-op mode, where two players race together in a permanently crashed vehicle to race and fight other drivers.
