Too cool for karts

Cocoto Kart Online races out onto iPhone

French developer Eurocenter has partnered up with Neko Entertainment (also French) to port the popular mobile, DS and Wii kart racing game, Cocoto Kart Online, to the iPhone (funny how 'kart' has become a word in its own right, eh?).

Although the cartoon-like karter is quite simple looking, the focus is more on the racing action buried within the gameplay that makes this one stand out. Cocoto Kart Online primarily concentrates on the online experience, offering full, online multiplayer in a couple of different modes.

Naturally, you can race it out around the tracks but there's also a Battle Mode in which you're required to shoot your opponents three times to take them out.

There are ten different tracks, with five battle mode maps, and 12 individual racing characters to choose from (some of which need to be unlocked through achievements). It also promises seamless synchronisation with low bandwidth users, which should keep the online racing action fast and furious.

Have a look at the different videos below, which show off the racing, online and battle modes, and hit the 'Buy It!' to head on over to the App Store to take a closer look at Cocoto Kart Online.

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
