iPhone and iPad helicopter side-scroller Chopper 2 has received a bumper update, and a huge price cut, to celebrate the game’s release on the Mac App Store, which opens tomorrow.

Once you’ve coughed up for the Mac version of Chopper 2, you can use wi-fi to hook up an iPhone or iPod touch to your pearly white computer, and control the game by tilting and tapping your iOS device.

There are also updates for non-Mac owners. As well as some bug fixes, the game now supports Game Center for achievements, leaderboards, and even syncing your game progress across multiple devices, so you can continue the same campaign between iPhone and iPad.

Chopper 2 is currently available on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad for 59p / 99c / €0.79c to celebrate the release of Majic Jungle Software's Chopper 2 on the Mac App Store.
