Having previously spun off into sports, the Chop Chop series is back to its action platforming roots with Chop Chop Caveman.

The sixth game in a series that's been downloaded over six million times, Chop Chop Caveman combines its traditional one finger control method with colourful graphics and physics-based gameplay.

Perhaps the most standout feature however is the super squashed art style which underpins the 20 levels and four different world themes.

Back to basics

In terms of gameplay, you'll be performing the usual run-and-jumping, throwing and collecting as you control a caveman out to satisfy his carnivorous appetite on delectable dinosaur steaks, tantalising T-Rex ribs and prehistoric pug sausage.

OpenFeint and Game Center are also included for leaderboards and achievements.

Chop Chop Caveman will be released as a universal app for iPhone and iPad on November 25. It will cost 99c, €0.79 or 59p for a limited time.

And it plays a little like this.
