Square Enix has released some screenshots and two trailers of Chaos Rings II, featuring two actors from the game.

Unfortunately, you'll need to be fluent in Japanese to understand the videos, which is why our resident linguistics expert Matt has been drafted in to translate some of the highlights.

Chaos Rings II will take longer to produce than its predecessor, according to actor #1 (and Matt), with the Chaos Rings story now likely to run and run over several sequels.

The Japanese game actor added that you'll find it a more "convenient" adventure, apparently.

Final call for July

A Square Enix producer has also apologised via Facebook for Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions missing its spring 2011 release window, but said you'll probably be able to get your hands on it later this month.

'Shiina' confirmed that the much-anticipated tactical RPG will be playable on iPhone 3GS - but not on iPhone 3G - that autosaving has been added, and that it won't feature multiplayer.

He also reiterated that an iPad version of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions will launch soon after the iPhone edition debuts, so expect that in late August.
