Championship Manager 2006 PSP release confirmed

Worried about how to keep busy between the end of the season and the World Cup?

Championship Manager 2006 PSP release confirmed

Eidos has just confirmed that you'll be able to slot the next chapter of its ever-popular footie management sim into your PSP's UMD port on the 7th of April.

Just about perfect timing, then, for you to turn around the fortunes of your favourite team before the season ends for real on the 7th of May. Heck, if you're especially good you might even have landed yourself an international job before the World Cup kicks off in June.

There's certainly plenty to tackle, with 25,000 players in 55 playable leagues across the top 12 footballing nations, and they're all potentially in your sights via a fully-interactive transfer system. Add to that a realistic 2D match engine, enabling you to follow the action on the pitch, specially designed Quick Start and Challenge modes for the handheld formats, and a raft of revamped managerial powers, and you should already be preparing to say goodbye to what little spare time you had left.

We'll be putting Championship Manager 2006 through its paces right here very soon, but in the meantime there's always Match of the Day or the official CM site to keep you occupied.
