Captain Comeback

Well, we say classic… We don’t actually remember Captain Dynamo, and the press release admits that it’s an “often overlooked classic”, which sounds more accurate. But anyway, the original was a vertically scrolling platform game with all manner of diamond-collecting trap-avoiding monster-battling fun.

Now it’s come to mobile, courtesy of publisher Telcogames. It’s only available for Nokia phones running the Symbian operating system, although the upside of that is the game looks and sounds much better than a standard Java mobile game.

It’s available to buy from the Handango website, and if you’re wondering if your phone’s a Symbian model, the supported handsets are: Nokia 3230, 6260, 6600, 6620, 6670, 6630, 6680, 6681, 6682, 7610, N-Gage, N-Gage QD, N70 and N90. We guess they’re not so fussed about gamers who don’t own a Big N handset…
