There are few types of game better suited to pocket gaming than the humble puzzle. Combining bite-sized chunks of brain-taxing entertainment, simple controls and loads of levels, it's possibly the perfect genre for gaming on the go.

So what could be better than one great puzzle game? The answer, according to Capcom, is five of the little devils packed on one UMD disc.

Bringing together cult classic Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Block Block, and the three-in-one Buster Bros. Collection, Capcom Puzzle World promises to provide the peak of puzzling pleasure for PSP owners.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo combines falling block and gem busting antics with the outrageous action of the fighting game from where it takes its name. Hence miniature animated pugilists duke it out by sorting falling gems and lobbing more onto the opponent's screen via combination moves. This outing of the game will also include two 'never-before-released' gameplay modes and the ability to create custom attack patterns.

Offering a more co-operative multiplayer approach is Block Block, a paddle and ball block-breaking game that enables two players to simultaneously smash away to their hearts' content.

Last (and third and fourth) but by no means least, Buster Bros. Collection combines Buster Bros, Super Buster Bros and Buster Buddies, three variations on a theme that see players having to shoot away bouncing bubbles without being squashed by them.

As well as retouching all the games for widescreen PSP glory, Capcom has also added in some interesting personalisation features, such as enabling players to import personal pictures into some of the games and taking snapshots of the action. You'll also be able to wind up your chums by uploading your unfeasibly high scores to their PSP, adding an extra edge to multiplayer competition.

Suffice to say we're positively primed to put Puzzle World through its paces when it arrives later this year. Press 'Track It!' to participate!
