Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 sets its sights on Nintendo DS
But not targeting a 3DS release
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance is on its way to Nintendo DS - although it won't see a 3DS release.
It's in development by n-Space, the company behind all of the past Nintendo DS Call of Duty titles. As spotted by Eurogamer, n-Space explained on its Facebook page why the game won't be launching on the 3DS.
"You guys all need to understand that we make the games we are hired to make," the company said. "It is not our call to decide which platforms to support."
"Obviously we are big 3DS fans and supporters as we have 3 titles in development. If it were as simple as us choosing what products and platforms to develop for I would get a lot more sleep."
There's no word yet on whether Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance on DS will debut at the same time as the console editions, which are currently inked in for November 8th.
