Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for iOS gets Ray Gun, Monkey Bombs, and save option in latest update

The Silver Award-winning FPS Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies has just received an update, which adds new weapons, Point Packs, and a save function to the iPhone and iPad app.

You can now bring the pain Asimov-style with the science-powered Ray Gun, or let marsupial madness rain down upon your undead foes by tossing a couple of Monkey Bombs into the fray.

If you're not progressing as quickly as you'd like through the ghoul-infested environment, then you can now buy Point Packs via in-app purchases to shoot through the game that much faster.

Plus, if your zombie-blasting session is interrupted for any reason, you can now save and load your progress, letting you pick up the massacre exactly where you left off.

You can download Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies from the App Store as a Universal app for £4.99 / $6.99.
