Confectioner extraordinaire Jill Evans is set to return to the iPhone with mixing bowl and spatula in hand in Cake Mania Celebrity Chef.

SlideToPlay has got its hands into the sticky mixture of the latest addition to the popular mobile franchise, Cake Mania, as the kitchen queen attempts to cook her way to the number one spot in the celebrity chef ranks.

The game features a completely revamped graphical style, distinguishing it from the previous iPhone iteration, Cake Mania 3, though naturally it retains the same intensive, entertaining barrage of bizarre cake-building requirements.

You'll be taking Jill on a round the world trip as she attempts to outbake her culinary competition while catering to the whims of increasingly surreal and impatient sweet-toothed customers. It also includes three new arcade mini-games (including a rather messy cake stacking task) to keep the gameplay on the boil.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
