Kavcom bringing PSN actioneer Burn Zombie Burn to iOS

There's nothing like beating up on zombies, and so it is that the iOS audience's appetite for the undead will be further expanded with the arrival of Doublesix's Burn Zombie Burn.
Originally released for PlayStation 3 on PSN in 2010, it's now coming to iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Mac through UK publisher Kavcom and developer TickTock.
In the game, you take the role of Bruce who has to fight off a never-ending horde of undead attackers with increasingly bizarre weaponry, ranging from guns, bats, and chainsaws to level-specific events, such as the God Ray.
As the title suggests, to score high, you have to set fire to as many zombies as possible – the more zombies on fire, the bigger your multiplier – but burning zombies are faster and more dangerous than their shambling brethren.
Smoke gets in your eyesModes are the free-roaming Freeplay, the Defence mode where you have to protect your stationary girlfriend Daisy, plus Timed and Challenge modes.
"Working with Doublesix to bring Burn Zombie Burn to the App Store has been a great experience," said Tony Kavanagh, Kavcom's MD.
"The game has already been a huge hit on the PlayStation Network and we're anticipating a big success for Apple devices."
Burn Zombie Burn is due to be released sometime in May.
