Teenagers might have Olympic-level text messaging speeds nowadays, but if you're an old goat like me there's no need to feel a bit rubbish by comparison. OrangePixel's BubbleBee Quicktype will train your thumbs up until you too can tap in entire Shakespeare sonnets in 1.3 seconds. Probably.

The core of the game involves typing in words that are displayed in floating bubbles, with the words getting longer and the bubbles floating faster as you work through the game.

OrangePixel promises three play modes, a huge list of words, and a potentially infinite number of levels – presumably, you keep going until the game's too fast to play, or your thumbs fall off. Meanwhile, depth is supplied by the chance to chain perfect words for scoring combos.

The developer is making a name for itself in the typing genre, having already released casual title Thumb-It. Hopefully BubbleBee Quicktype will be a fun slice of QWERTY goodness.
