Digital Chocolate’s latest Java puzzle game, Bubble Revolution, will be popping onto mobile carriers in April.

Bubble Revolution at first appears to bear similarities to Zuma, the idea of the game being to destroy a chain of coloured bubbles by firing matching colours from a cannon.

Unlike similar titles, though, Bubble Revolution works not by rotating the cannon to fire, but by rotating the world itself - an intriguing twist on the formula.

There’s a 40 level Career mode to pop through, including some huge boss fights, as well as Time Attack and Endless modes for the high-score junkies out there.

We’ll be dusting down our anti-establishment placards for a review in a few weeks' time.
