Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior leaps from iPad to iPhone

Released early last month for iPad, Digital Legends's martial arts fighter has finally made the step down, and is available for iPhone and iPod touch.

As we detailed earlier this month, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior is something of a technical marvel for an iDevice game. It uses motion captured movements from real martial artists, as well as detailed facial animations and particle effects. You don't see that every day on the iPhone.

Dragon Warrior sees you beating up a number of fist-flying goons in five locations, with four unique fighting styles and even a Story mode with multiple chapters. You've also got the usual fighting game fare in Arcade, Time Attack, Versus, and Survival modes.

We were pretty impressed with the iPad edition, giving it a Bronze Award in our review. Judging from the screenshots, little's changed in the transition from tablet to smartphone, and it looks to retain much of the attention to detail and impressive graphics that made the game stand out on iPad.

Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior is available now on iPhone and iPod touch for £3.49 / $5.99 / €4.99.
