Braveheart becomes a mobile game

We reported some time ago that Artificial Life had bagged the mobile rights to 1995 blockbuster film Braveheart. But we didn't know much about the game itself.

Well, the publisher has just revealed all. Braveheart the game sees you playing firebrand Scotsman William Wallace himself, plotting attacks against those pesky Sassenachs.

Specifically, you've got to lay siege to (and then protect) Stirling, Paisley, Falkirk, Edinburgh, Lanark and York, over ten real-time strategy missions.

So, you'll be battling infantry, cavalry, foot soldiers and leaders, before guarding the towns against counter-attacks, and then trying to think up a suitable battle song about, say, your willingness to walk 500 miles, and indeed, 500 more.

(Okay, that last task had to wait a few centuries).

Each mission offers three difficulty levels, and naturally stays as close to the film as possible. The game is due out imminently.
