Get another shot of Brain Juice

Digital Chocolate's brain trainer is back, and brainier than ever

Get another shot of Brain Juice

Following the rash of brain-training games that came out last year, 2007 will see the second generation. Leading the way is Brain Juice Energy, which is the follow-up to last year's Brain Juice.

Publisher Digital Chocolate is promising 12 new brain teasers and much better graphics for the sequel.

Among the new games are Domino Math, Flashback and Word Hunt, with new ones being unlocked as you play through the game. The idea is still to track your daily progress, with the puzzles divided between Maths, Memory and Pattern Recognition categories.

Meanwhile, the multiplayer Free Exercise mode lets you compete with up to three friends to see who's brainiest.

Brain Juice Energy looks set to be more fun than its predecessor, although it faces stern competition in the form of Glu Mobile's recently-released Brain Genius.
