UK company Jagex is best known for RuneScape - world's most popular free MMORP apparently.

It makes plenty of other games though, notably through its FunOrb portal, and it's one of these games that's provided the company's launchpad onto iPhone.

Developed in a couple of days by one of its talented team, BounceDown is an experiment for the company, both in terms of making and publishing iPhone games, as well as seeing what the audience reaction is.

We don't expect to see RuneScape on iPhone of course, but the likelihood of more FunOrb titles appearing in future seems high.

And the other good news is BounceDown - which plays like an inverted Doodle Jump - is free.

How does it work? Check out the following video.
