Bob’s Game coming to Android
Hopefully it won’t require a protest to get it released
Pity poor Bob, for his nose is frozen, and… he’s mad!
Mad at Nintendo, that is. Homebrew developer Robert Pelloni is staging a protest at being ignored by Nintendo as he tries to release the extraordinary works he’s done on his DS RPG, Bob's Game, as we reported earlier on.
Well, as Bob’s had no luck with the Big N, and his only lifeline to the world has been his T-Mobile G1, it’s no wonder he’s also begun work of an Android port of Bob’s Game.
The top-down RPG is in the style of the classic 16-bit games, and has been in development for over five years. Although details on the game itself are kinda sketchy right now, Bob claims this is the biggest RPG a single person has ever made single handed. That’s a lot of singles, and judging by the 15,000 man hours that have been poured into this game, we can only assume Bob’s single, too.
Anyway, considering the rigmarole surrounding the DS game, an Android port might actually make it to the virtual shelves first, so keep an eye on this thread for more Bob’s Game news as it happens.
Solidarity, brother!
