The really rather excellent mobile board game, Talisman, is on sale right now for the low, low price of just 99p / 99c. That's a ridiculous deal for a game that's going to give you hours of fun.
The game is all about securing the crown of command, which sits in the centre of the game board. But it's a perilous and often difficult journey to get there. Especially since the other players are trying to do exactly the same thing.
At review we called it "a gorgeous, if somewhat clumsy, version of a narrative rich but overly random board game."
It's the sort of game that splits fans down the middle. Not literally, of course, but some people love it and some people hate it. When you only have to pay a quid to find out which camp you sit in, it'd be a bit silly not to.
