Texan developer FangTooth Studios is using Kickstarter to bring Bluff Wars, its own version of classic parlour game Balderdash, to mobile platforms.

The aim of the game is simple: you must deceive your friends by inventing convincing answers to a series of trivia questions.

If this is starting to sound like your last job interview, don't worry - it's actually a lot of fun.

The more convincing the lie, the more likely other players are to identify your response as the correct answer. And, as fooling your friends nets you twice as many points as identifying a correct definition, there's more incentive to mislead than there is to inform.

This is my truth

Since the Kickstarter page opened last Wednesday, $505 has been raised. Though this may seen like a relatively small figure, the dev is only looking for $6,500 to complete the project.

If you own an iOS or Android handset and would like to be rewarded for lying to your peers, you've got until July 5th to open your wallet in support of Bluff Wars.
