Bloons is popping over to iPhone
Prepare to reach out and touch the monkey popping balloon casual game
A monkey, some darts and various configurations of balloons to pop; ahh Bloons. It’s one of those massively addictive 2D Flash games that an academic someday soon will no doubt prove destroyed the productivity of capitalism and caused the banking crash. Well, over three million user-generated levels have been created at Bloons World, so someone’s been putting in the hours. We reckon it was Ben Bernanke.
Political satire aside though, the news is that Bloons is coming over to iPhone and iPod touch. Publisher Ninja Kiwi is working with Dundee outfit Digital Goldfish to ensure a touch perfect version will be making it’s way onto the App Store at some point in the next couple of months.
Ninja Kiwi MD Chris Harris told us; "For a long time, we've been thinking about bringing Bloons to other platforms because it's such a good fit. We're really excited now to be working with Digital Goldfish to finally make this happen. And from what we've seen, the game translates to iPhone every bit as well as we'd hoped."
