Taking the balloon popping success of the original Bloons Flash game and translating it into a tower defence form, Bloons TD has been a success on the App Store, and now it's coming to PSP minis.

The PSP version of Bloons TD has been made by the developer of the iPhone version Digital Goldfish, together with the series creator Ninja Kiwi.

And Digital Goldfish is happy to reveal that Bloons TD is a faithful port of the Flash original, with 50 levels spread across 15 tracks.

Of course, you have to place your army of dart-throwing monkeys to defeat the never ending wave of ever more powerful bloons. Upgrades and traps are required in order to earn the gold medals you'll need to become the tower defence master.

Bloons TD is due for release on PlayStation Network soon, priced £3.49.

You can see how it plays in the following video of the iPhone version.
