Digital Goldfish's bizarre balloon popping puzzle game Bloons has been one of the most popular game reviews we've ever had on Pocket Gamer, so we're always excited to hear about new its bubble-bursting antics.

It recently made it onto Sony's new budget range of PSP Minis games, and today it's celebrating the festive season with a limited Christmas edition, Bloons Festive Fun.

This wintry-themed edition works much like an advent calendar (including the all new reindeer balloon), requiring you to complete the daily challenges to win trophies that are added to the in-game Christmas vista scene, complete with roaring log fire.

And don't worry - if you don't pick it up on December first, or you miss a day or two, the previous challenges will still be available. That said, Bloons Festive Fun is only on sale on sale this month (at £0.50/$0.99) and will be removed from the App Store on January 1st.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
