As spotted by Boy Genius Report, the BlackBerry Torch 9800 has gone live earlier than expected.

The site was probably set to go live during RIM's press conference today, but the internet has once again prevailed and leaked the first picture of the device, along with what seems to be part of its specifications.

The specs are as follows:

3.2 inch 480 x 360 screen
Bluetooth 2.1
Wi-fi b/g/n
BlackBerry OS 6
512 MB RAM
512 MB Flash + 4 GB Flash + 4GB micro-SD card
5 megapixel camera
1300 mAh battery
and the following dimensions: 161.1 g. (H X W X D) 111 x 62 x 14.6 mm.

Look for the official announcement some time today.
