BlackBerry PlayBook gets PlayStation emulator
|

The BlackBerry PlayBook just doesn't come close to the iPad or even Android-based slates when it comes to gaming - some of the best and most highly rated mobile titles just simply aren't available on RIM's tablet platform.

It does, however, have an all-new PlayStation emulator, meaning - providing they're compatible - you can play the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Crash Bandicoot on RIM's 7-inch tablet.

The emulator, which is called PCSX-ReARMed-PB, requires your very own PlayStation BIOS and game CD image files, so it's probably best suited to those already into PlayStation emulation.

You can find full installation instructions on the CrackBerry forums.
