RIM is attempting to dispel the 'business users only' stigma with its new tablet by including full versions of two classic games from EA Mobile - neither of which features bricks or the act of breaking them (that's one for the BlackBerry fans out there).

Need for Speed: Underground should be familiar to iOS users, having first arrived on the platform in 2009. The PlayBook version comes with an extra game mode - Quick Race - but otherwise is identical in terms of graphics and speed.

There were a few kinks in the version we tried, with a number of mid-game pauses, but EA was quick to assure us that this would be fixed before the tablet launched.

Tetris, on the other hand, worked as you'd expect and is still as annoyingly distracting as it's always been. The touch controls aren't quite as satisfying as on physical buttons, but its hard to get too annoyed at such classic gameplay.

The two games chosen to demonstrate the tablet's gaming capabilities aren't quite at the same level as the Motorola Xoom, which comes with an interesting exclusive platformer - Cordy - but they do at least show that RIM and EA Mobile seem keen to demonstrate the versatility of the device.
