Ben 10 goes galactic in Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks for DS and PSP

The multi-million selling Ben 10 games - based on the Cartoon Network TV show of course - continues to print money for its publisher, as well as pleasing thousands of small boys around the world.

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks is the third game in the series, and in the way of such things will feature an all-new, original and exclusive storyline.

Ben and his mysterious wrist-based device - the Omnitrix - journey to outer space in an upgradeable spacecraft, blasting asteroid fields and enemy ships along the way - before they land on never-before-seen planets. As in the TV show, Ben will use his 10 alien forms and their special powers to battle his greatest enemy, Vilgax, and an extreme team of fearsome foes in an effort to thwart their grand scheme to conquer the universe.

The game will offer a blend of combat, puzzle solving and platform gameplay, while only in the DS version, you also get to adventure in alien form Upchuck, who offers additional command and exploration powers.

In terms of the portable versions, there will be a DS release - developed by 1st Playable Productions - while the PSP game comes courtesy of Papaya, which is also doing the main console SKUs (Wii, X360 and PS2).

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks is due to be released in autumn 2009, in North America at least.
