EA Mobile has announced an extension of its Bejeweled agreement with PopCap Games, meaning it'll carry on publishing Bejeweled and Bejeweled 2 for mobile phones until 2010.

The games have been big sellers on mobile. The two companies haven't revealed any details on any new Bejeweled games as part of the deal, though.

PopCap publishes the iPhone versions of both games itself, but has worked with EA on the mobile side for both titles in recent years.

What we want to know, though, is when us Europeans can expect to get the multiplayer version of Bejeweled that was released in North America last year.

Hopefully this deal increases the likelihood of that happening soon(ish).
